Maxime Desprey and Mathis Valin were crowned as the new 24MX Elite Champions last weekend at the series’ final round in Ernée.

GSM Yamaha´s Maxime Desprey swept the opening round in Basly. From then on, he kept the red plate every round by winning three overalls out of six. With the absence of his main rival Valentin Guillod, a 3-7 for 4th overall was enough to wrap up the title.

On the other hand, his teammate Greg Aranda took the win via 2-1 over Jordi Tixier 1-2. The podium was filled by Adrien Malaval 4-3. Aranda finished 3rd in the standings.

In the MX2 class, Mathis Valin took the title in his first season. Despite missing the third round due to the EMX250 calendar, Valin turned around things on his favor by sweeping the last round and clinched the title by 21 points over Mathys Boisrame.
