EMX85 & EMX65 Southwest Zone Round 1 – Brezice

Italian Andrea Uccellini and Croatian Roko Ivandic were the winners in the first qualifying round of the European 85cc and 65cc championships Southwest zone, held in Brezice, Slovenia.

In the EMX85 class, Husqvarna´s Ucellini swept both motos scoring a perfect 50 points scorecard over the Austrian Ricardo Bauer (KTM) who went 2-2. The podium was filled by French Sleny Goyer (GasGas) via 3-4. Meanwhile, Leo Diss-Fenard came short of the podium as he finished 5-3 for 4th overall. Pretty solid ride for David Cracci with 6-6 for 5th.

In the EMX65 class, Croatian Roko Ivandic edged French Timotei Cez after they shared wins in Race 1 and 2 respectively. The KTM rider and the GasGas were tied in points with 47 points each. The battle for third place was between a Croatian and a Frenchman too, with Mathys Agullo (France) taking the final step of the podium via 7-3 over Stefan Lence 3-7.

Next Southwest Round will take place next weekend, April 13th & 14th in Zabok, Croatia.
