This weekend: Dutch mid-season International Race of Heerde

Febvre Matterley 25

On Sunday, July 6, the Dutch mid season race will take place on the sandy circuit of Heerde. Many big names in motocross will line up.

One of the confirmed riders is Romain Febvre of the Kawasaki Racing Team. Febvre claimed victory at the British Grand Prix in Matterley Basin two weeks ago and currently leads the World Championship standings after twelve rounds. Earlier this year, he also won the Dutch Masters of Motocross title.

Febvre will face off against Dutch stars like Glenn Coldenhoff, Jago Geerts or Brent Van Doninck.

Jeffrey Herlings was originally listed to race this round, but a recently fractured collarbone has sidelined him indefinitely. According to Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, Herlings will miss the upcoming MXGP of Finland. You can read the full team statement and latest updates on the five-time world champion’s condition in KTM’s official press release.

The MX2 class will be stacked with talent, including reigning world champion Kay de Wolf and 2023 title winner Andrea Adamo, both still in contention for this year’s championship. Other notable entries include Rick Elzinga, Ivano Van Erp, Oriol Oliver, David Braceras, Marc-Antoine Rossi, Cas Valk, and Noel Zanocz, among others.

There will be no live stream available for this event, but you can follow all the latest updates and results at mx1onboard.com.
