Devin Simonson: New American entry in the MX2 World Champioship

A new American import will be taking part in the MX2 World Championship.

Yesterday, during the Pulp MX Show, we learned that Devin Simonson will join his countryman Jack Chambers in the MXGP paddock. However, not under the same tent.

“Yeah, we can break the news. We will be going to race the MXGP’s in the MX2 class for SM-Action KTM. There’s France and then a two week break, I think Kegums (in Latvia) will be the first one for me”, said Simonson during the interview.

Simonson has been a regular privateer in the AMA circuit. Last weekend in the season finale in Salt Lake City he scored his first-ever top 10 in the 450SX class. As far as motocross refers, he only did four rounds of the Pro Motocross championship back in 2021, being a 12th in Ironman his best overall result. It will be interesting how he adapts to this new world.
