Sexton will make his most anticipated return to the AMA Pro Motocross series at round 5 in Red Bud after the doctors give the green light to the HRC rider.

Sexton started the season in a runner-up position behind his teammate and current championship leader Jett Lawrence. But the week before round 2 he suffered a practice crash that saw him miss the next three races due to a concussion.

“Chase Sexton is back!,” the team confirmed. “Team Honda HRC is very happy to confirm the reigning 450SX champ’s return to Pro Motocross this weekend. Chase missed three rounds due to concussion, but is once again ready to compete as the series heads to the legendary RedBud – his home race and the same place he helped bring Team USA to victory just last fall.”

The return of Sexton is recently added to the return of Monster Energy`s Kawasaki Jason Anderson as well. Both will try form now on to beat Jett Lawrence, who after four rounds remains unbeatable with a perfecto 8-0 in motos.

On the other hand, 250 rookie Chance Hymas from HRC will miss the remaining rounds due to a recent surgery to repair a knee injury.
