Jess Pettis recently parted ways with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team after winning the 2024 Canadian 450 Pro Motocross Championship.

Pettis now signed with the MX101 FXR Yamaha team for 2025 and 2026, with whom he won the 2018 250 Pro Motocross Championship title. Pettis is set on defending the number one plate and, in this interview, discusses why he chose to switch teams and what he thinks of the Yamaha so far.

“I feel like I’m returning to a family, and with their support I feel like I can continue to grow and reach new levels. This is the first piece of the 2025 MX101 FXR Yamaha team, revealed. We have exciting things happening in both classes and look forward to our best overall season as a team yet!”
