The 2023 Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX) calendar has been announced. This time the series was reduced to three rounds.

The season opener round will take place in Newcastle on November 11 at the McDonald Jones Stadium. The round will be under the Triple Crown format with three Main Events per class.

Round two will be in Melbourne on November 24, taking place the night previous at the World Supercross Championship season finale. The third and final round of the Australian Supercross series has been scheduled on December 2, in Adelaide.

“Following industry feedback and considering the cost of travel right now – we believe three rounds makes sense for 2023, with the view to move to four rounds in 2024 and then five in 2025. Most importantly for this year, we wanted to prioritise quality over quantity when it comes to rounds and racing and create a stable footing for sustainable growth moving forward,”said AME Group director of motorsport Kevin Williams.
