The Floridian will debut in the second round of the ACU British Championship at Lyng this weekend.
It has been a busy month for Chambers, who moved from being a privateer in the USA to contesting in the MX2 World Championship with DRT Kawasaki. This radical change not only includes the new tracks and scenarios, but a new bike too. Before moving to Europe, Chambers never rode a Kawasaki bike until his Grand Prix debut in Switzerland. Despite the decent results in his first two races, Chambers still needs more time to adapt and test the Dixon machinery. As a result, he and the team decided to line up this weekend in the second round of the ACU British Championship, where Chambers will face some fast rivals like Isak Gifting and Bobby Bruce, among others. Also, Chambers will be riding on a sand track as Lyng’s hillside circuit is well known for its sand-based soil and physically demanding design.
According to Chambers, the idea to race this weekend came from Zach Osborne, who in the past also rode for Steve Dixon in the World Championship and is a former British Champion as well.
