Sexton Anaheim 2 26

Chase Sexton bounced back in emphatic fashion at Anaheim, claiming his first 450SX victory with Monster Energy Kawasaki and re-entering the championship fight. Despite early crashes during qualifying and his heat race, Sexton showed composure in the main event, overtaking early leader Jason Anderson and controlling the race to secure Kawasaki’s first 450SX win since 2022.

Hunter Lawrence finished second after building pace throughout the race, while Eli Tomac completed the podium and retained the championship lead. One of the standout performances of the night came from Ken Roczen, who recovered from a first-corner crash to charge from last to eighth, limiting the damage in the title race despite losing ground in the standings.

250SX West Coast: Deegan back-to-back wins

Haiden Deegan delivered his second consecutive victory in a chaotic 250SX West Coast main event, further extending his advantage in the championship standings. After a tense build-up with Max Anstie following their recent on-track controversy, Deegan took control of the race by passing early leader Michael Mosiman midway through the main event and managing the closing laps with authority.

Mosiman secured second place and moved up to second in the championship, while Ryder DiFrancesco completed the podium. Anstie endured a difficult night after a poor start and multiple mistakes, limiting him to sixth place and dropping him to third in the standings. Several title contenders suffered setbacks, including Chance Hymas and Levi Kitchen, both DNF early in the main event after heavy crashes.
