Race Results: AMA Arenacross | Round 3, Loveland

Arenacross from Blue FCU Arena

Three rounds, three different winners

The 2025–26 AMA FIM North American Arenacross Championship kicked off its 2026 calendar with Round 3 on January 3rd in Loveland, Colorado, and the night delivered plenty of drama. When the dust settled, Robbie Wageman emerged as the overall winner—despite not winning a single main event.

The Team Solitaire Heartbeat Hot Sauce Yamaha rider posted a consistent 3–2 score, which was enough to secure his first overall victory of the season.

Main Event 1 saw red-plate holder Ryan Breece (MCR Smartop Honda) grab the holeshot and control the race under pressure from teammate Austin Politelli. Politelli pushed hard but crashed on the final lap, dropping to fifth at the finish. That opened the door for Cole Thompson and Robbie Wageman to cross the line second and third, respectively, with Kyle Bitterman finishing fourth.

In Main Event 2, Politelli responded in the best possible way. He nailed the start, pulled away early, and cruised to the win—enough to secure second overall on the night. Behind him, a fierce battle for the podium unfolded between Breece, Thompson, and Wageman. Contact between Breece and Thompson allowed Wageman to sneak through for second. Thompson recovered to fourth for third overall, while Breece crossed the line fifth.

Despite the hectic night, Ryan Breece retains the red plate, holding a narrow two-point advantage over Cole Thompson (88–86). Wageman’s strong consistency moves him right into the title fight in third, just one point further back with 85 points. Politelli remains fourth overall, now 14 points off the lead, but with momentum heading into the next rounds.

The championship heads north next weekend for a double-header in Toronto, with Rounds 4 and 5 (of 12) set to further shake up an already tight title battle.
