MX Masters
Simon Längenfelder enjoyed a dream 450 debut at Round 2 of the ADAC MX Masters in Dreetz, taking the overall victory with 1-1-3 moto scores.
The reigning MX2 World Champion battled intensely with Max Nagl throughout the weekend, winning the opening two motos after passing the experienced German on both occasions. Nagl responded in Race 3 with a dominant lights-to-flag performance, while Längenfelder settled for third after a small tip-over with the overall already secured.
Roan van de Moosdijk completed the podium in third overall with consistent 4-2-2 finishes. Despite missing the overall win, Nagl leaves Dreetz still leading the championship by 15 points over van de Moosdijk.
Youngster Cup
Nicolai Skovbjerg claimed the overall victory in the Youngster Cup after an incredible comeback performance in the final moto, earning himself the red plate as championship leader.
The weekend initially belonged to Scott Smulders, who fought through the pack to win Race 1 before dominating Race 2 by fifteen seconds. However, the final moto completely changed the story. Both riders suffered poor starts outside the top 20, but while Smulders made mistakes during his recovery ride, Skovbjerg charged through the field all the way to victory.
The Danish rider secured the overall with 2-2-1 finishes ahead of Smulders (1-1-10), while reigning champion Mads Fredsoe completed the podium in third overall.
Skobvjerg now leads the standings by 4 points over Smulders.
