The Frenchman and the Spaniard were the winners of the first races in their respective classes at the first day of racing at Bielstein.
In the MX Masters, Jordi Tixier grabbed the holeshot and checked out from the rest of the field winning by a margin of six seconds over Tom Koch. Adam Sterry rode on a lonely third place while rookie Noah Ludwig and Czech Jakub Teresak rounded the top 5. Meanwhile, Championship leader Max Nagl made his way up to sixth after a first-turn crash.
In the Youngster Cup, fresh Red Plate holder Oriol Oliver took another win over his teammates from WZ Racing, Mike Gwerder and Cato Nickel to extend his points lead to 12. The top 5 were completed by Max Palsson and Jan Wagenknecht.
