As the opening round draws closer, scheduled for August 8 in Calgary, Canada, the 2026 FIM World Supercross Championship continues to take shape. The Canadian event will mark the first of six rounds on this year’s calendar.
As has been the case since the championship’s inaugural season in 2022, the series features a select group of teams, each fielding two riders per category. Competitors who are not part of one of these official teams may still participate in selected rounds as wildcard entries, although any points they score will not affect the standings of the championship’s full-time riders.

At present, the list of confirmed riders stands at seventeen across the SX1 and SX2 categories. However, several teams have yet to finalize their line-ups, meaning further announcements are expected in the coming weeks. This article will be updated as additional riders are officially confirmed.
