Two British riders will be lining up at the season opener round of the World Supercross Championship as wildcards.
This Saturday, July 1st, the second season of the World Supercross Championship will take place at Birmingham, in Villa Park. Local heroes Max Anstie and Dean Wilson are eager to compete in front of their home fans and fight for the top step of the podium. However, they will not be the only reason to cheer for the fans, as a total of another three British riders were confirmed as Wildcards.
In the WSX class, multi-time UK Arenacross champ Jack Brunell #155 will give it a go for the second year in a row. Brunell already competed as a Wildcard last year in Wales. And in the SX2 class, Dylan Woodcock (photo) will be the sole Fantic rider in his wildcard role. Like Brunell, Dylan also competed last year in the season opener.
