A titanic battle took place between Jeffrey Herlings and Romain Febvre at the final round of the Dutch Masters series in Oldebroek.
Herlings won the first moto in a dominant way, but in the second moto a lesser start meant that he really had to sit down for it. Febvre took the lead and opened a big gap. Once Herlings moved into second place, he had to make up more than ten seconds on the Frenchman. This worked and in the final phase Herlings managed to pass him. However, due to a small mistake, Febvre managed to get him back, giving the fans a very exciting last round. Herlings still found a place where he could pass Febvre and took the title in style. Febvre was second in the day standings with a 2-2 in the motos and Jeremy Seewer took third place (4-3).
