The 40th edition of the Supercross of Paris is happening right now under the lights of the Pars La Défense Arena. The first pair of Sprint Races for both classes have ended up with Honda HRC duo Jett Lawrence (SX1) and Jo Shimoda (SX2) on top in each race. Meanwhile, Ken Roczen and Tom Vialle had some issues.
In the first SX1 Sprint Race, Jett Lawrence dominated from the beginning. His brother Hunter kept Ken Roczen at bay the entire race on a great performance in his first 450 race. Behind them, local hero Cedric Soubeyras went back and forth with Cooper Webb to get fourth over the American rider.
The second SX1 Sprint Race was the Lawrence show they fought hard for the win. Hunter led every lap over his brother, but Jett made a block pass just before the last corner and snatched the win from Hunter’s hands. Cooper Webb came in third far away, while Ken Roczen made his way to sixth after a crash early on while trying to catch Hunter.
In the SX2 class, Jo Shimoda stormed both races. On the other hand, Tom Vialle suffered a crash in the first race as he ended eight, while in the second race, he rode in a solid second place.
