KTM TRT´s Jose Butron and Factory Fanatic David Braceras have claimed the overalls in their respective classes at the third round of the Spanish Motocross round in Malpartida de Caceres. Both riders went 1-1.

The reigning champ Butron took the win over his main title rival and early poleman Ander Valentin from the Yamaha Ausio team, who finished 2nd overall via 2-2. Now Butron extends the points lead to 14 points over Valentin. Simeo Ubach lands on the podium for the first time this season after a solid 3-3.

It was a similar story in the MX2 class with David Braceras making his return to his domestic series. The Fantic rider led from the start to the checkered flag of both motos. Last year 125cc champ Elias Escandell grabbed his first podium in this class, 2nd overall via 3-2.

For reigning champ Gerard Congost was a great day in the matter of championship. The Mequitec GasGas rider rounded the podium via 2-3, but he grabbed the red plate with a comfortable gap of 23 points over Escandell, as Samuel Nilsson´s DNF in the second race cost him the lead; now third with 99 points, 1 behind Escandell and 24 behind Congost.
