Simon Längenfelder was extremely impressive aboard his MC 250F and took his second Grand Prix victory of the season in fine form. The first moto belonged to ‘516’ – he led from start to finish and reached the finish line with an advantage of five seconds. The second moto was thrilling; Längenfelder clinched second around the halfway mark and put in an incredible charge. Unfortunately, he just missed out on the win by the smallest of margins. 00.928 was the deficit that he faced when the checkered flag waved! 1-2 results were more than enough for the overall win, fortunately, and that triumph helped him climb to fourth place in the championship standings.
Simon Längenfelder: “I felt so good this weekend! I really enjoyed the conditions here in Sweden – it was technical. I am happy with how things have gone since I got back from my injury. The team and I are working very well. We keep improving, so let’s continue like this next weekend.”
