The 2024 season will receive a big wave of European riders attempting supercross. So far, names such as Anthony Bourdon, Jason Clermont, or Guillem Farres, will make their debuts in the AMA Supercross series. And now rumors indicate that Italian Nicholas Lapucci also plans to attempt a few rounds.
Lapucci, the 2021 EMX250 champion, announced his plans for 2024 with MaxBart Husqvarna. The Tuscan rider will take to the track in the Italian Prestige MX2 Championship and the Italian Supercross Internationals, with another young rider at his side who stood out in past seasons Luca Ruffini who will be at the start of the Italian Prestige in MX2 and will take part in the entire EMX250 European Championship.
However, there is a possibility to see Lapucci making a debut in the AMA Supercross series with privateer team Invictus SpeedCrew. Despite not having factory support, Invictus SpeedCrew has been growing in the past season collecting some strong results. Normally they use Husqvarna machinery, which would be perfect for Lapucci. According to rumors, the plan is to race a few 250SX East Coast rounds.
