The Monster Energy Yamaha rider has finally undergone surgery after dealing with a shoulder injury in the final rounds of the MX2 World Championship.

Now successfully operated on and with a one-year contract secured, Elzinga will wait patiently until the doctors give the green light for routine training for the 2024 season, which according to the provisional MXGP calendar, will start on March 9 & 10 in Villa La Angostura, Argentina.
