According to the entry list for round four of the MXGP World Championship, current MX2 French Elite Champion Pierre Goupillon will be making his first GP in the premier class this weekend at Trentinto.

Despite never attempting an entire season, the Frenchman has been a regular GP visitor for many years. Actually, his last Grand Prix took place last year in Trentino, which was his last MX2 race before passing the limit age of 23 required in the class. He also enjoyed a good career at the EMX250 series collecting some podiums and a win in Spain in 2018.

Back home, Goupillon is the current MX2 defending champion third year in a row. He rides for VHR KTM Team, the same team with will be making his MXGP debut.
