Consistency paid off at the first night of racing of the 40th Supercross of Paris, as race winners Jett Lawrence, Tom Vialle and Jo Shimoda didn´t finish on the podium. However, Cooper Webb and Anthony Bourdon won the overall in their respective classes.
Cooper Webb get the overall via 3-1-2. Jett Lawrence won two out of three races, but a crash in the Sprint Race 2 ended with a DNF for the Australian. Fortunately Jett jumped back on the back and won the final.
In the SX2 class, Tom Vialle finished twelfth in the opening race due to a big crash at the end of the whoops. The Frenchman recovered with a pair of wins in the next two races, but it wasn´t enought to get the overall. Similar situation for Shimoda who went 1-11-2. Both titles contenders ended fourth and fifth in the provisional standings.
