Niccolo Mannini and Maddii Honda Part Ways

The Honda Maddii ABF Italia team has officially announced the end of its collaboration with Italian rider Niccolò Mannini.

According to the team, the decision to part ways was made by mutual agreement, as the respective sporting programs for the remainder of the season were no longer fully compatible.

Mannini had been planning to make his debut in the EMX250 European Motocross Championship, whose opening round will take place in two weeks during the MXGP of Spain at Cozar. With this unexpected move, the rider is now awaiting confirmation of his next plans.

Mannini’s departure leaves Elías Escandell and Nicolò Alvisi as—at least for the moment—the team’s only riders in the category.

It is also worth noting that the Honda Maddii ABF Italia squad had already faced an early roster change earlier this year when Marc-Antoine Rossi left the team just a week before the start of the MX2 Motocross World Championship season, with Maxime Grau stepping in to fill the vacancy.
