MXoN: Team Netherlands make rider change

Coldenhoff came short of the podium, 4th overall

Glenn Coldenhoff joins Jeffrey Herlings and Kay de Wolf in Team Netherlands as the new rider for the OPEN class.

Vlaanderen injured his left knee in a first-turn crash during the opening race of the Dutch Grand Prix. Although he managed to finish the race, he was unable to line up for Race 2, as well as the Swiss GP last weekend. Following a thorough assessment, the 28-year-old Dutchman has been advised to take a minimum of 10 days of rest before returning to racing. However, team manager has decided to replace Vlaanderen for Coldenhoff. The current Fantic Factory rider won four motos in a row between 2018 and 2019 editions.

Netherlands is the second team to make changes. Weeks ago we learned that Nathan Crawford will be replaced by Josiah Natzke due injury.
