Herlings Trentino 26 2

Today, Friday, May 1, the historic Austreberthe Motocross celebrates its 68th edition with a truly stellar lineup. This classic French event, one of the most traditional on the European calendar, brings together several world-class riders this year in a single open category that includes riders from different championships and engine classes.

Herlings sweeps!

Jeffrey Herlings dominated the first race, while Maxime Renaux overtook Tom Vialle on the final lap to claim second place. Renaux even had time to put pressure on Herlings, crossing the finish line less than a second behind the Dutchman.

In the second race, Renaux took the holeshot and went on to lead for the next ten laps. At first glance, he seemed to have everything under control, maintaining a comfortable lead over Herlings, but the Dutch rider launched a surprise attack and managed to snatch the lead with two laps to go. Renaux tried to respond, but to no avail. Conrad Mewse finished a distant third, while Vialle could only manage 18th after a poor start outside the top 20.

The third race saw Max Nagl take the holeshot, though he was quickly overtaken by Herlings, who controlled every lap with authority. Behind them, Renaux and Vialle had to fight their way back after starting near the top 5 following a messy start.

PODIUM:

  1. Jeffrey Herlings 1-1-1
  2. Maxime Renaux 2-2-2
  3. Conrad Mewse 5-3-5
