Lotte Van Drunen swept the WMX of Riola Sardo – Round 2

MXPG Serdegna 2024, Riola Sardo Rider:

Dutch talent Lotte Van Drunen showed her strength over the sand of Riola Sardo by sweeping the second round of the WMX Motocross Championship. She now equals the 94 points lead with Spaniard Daniela Guillen who went 2-2. Meanwhile, Lynn Valk finished third overall once again with a pretty solid 3-3.

Former World Champ Kiara Fontanesi earned both holeshots but she couldn´t keep the pace at front and finished 4-4 in both motos over current champ Courtney Duncan who finished 5-5 losing a bunch of points. Duncan is now 40 points behind the leaders Van Drunen and Guillen.

The next round will take place in Lugo, Spain, on May 11 & 12. Van Drunen and Guillen will share the points lead with 94 points each.
