Dutch rider Lars van Berkel has announced his participation in the Canadian Triple Crown Motocross Series during the summer of 2025. Van Berkel will join the Guaranteed Comfort Honda Racing team to compete in the 450 class.
Known as «The Red,» van Berkel, born on January 15, 1994, in Veghel, Netherlands, has built a solid career in European motocross. In the 2023 season, he finished eighth overall in the 500cc Dutch Masters of Motocross championship. He has also taken part in several rounds of the FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP) and the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in the United States.
Van Berkel is already in Canada and has begun his preparation for the season. He recently raced at Gopher Dunes, where he finished sixth in the first moto and faced some issues in the second, completing only seven laps.
His addition to the Canadian series is expected to bring extra excitement and a competitive edge to the championship. Motocross fans will be watching closely to see how the Dutch rider performs in the upcoming rounds.
