Reigning MX1 champion Kyle Webster underwent precautionary medical scans after crashing during qualifying this afternoon at the Australia Pro Motocross season opener. The incident sparked a brief scare for the Honda Racing rider, who went down while pushing for a strong gate pick.
Honda Racing has since confirmed that Webster has been cleared of any major injury and is expected to line up tomorrow. Despite the fall, the defending champion still qualified second, and his intention to begin his title defense remains unchanged.
