An international race just two days after the Grand Prix of Uddevalla? Sure, why not?
The Flanders Masters Motocross is a typical race in Keiheuvel, and this year the club will celebrate KMC Mol its 100th anniversary. Despite the busy MXGP calendar taking place this weekend in Uddevalla, Sweden, for round 15, some top riders and their respective teams decided to make an exception to this historic competition, as they will heading to Keiheuvel to race on Tuesday, August 15th, just two days after the Grand Prix.
Among the top MXGP stars will have Jeffrey Herlings, Romain Febvre, Pauls Jonass, Brian Bogers, and Benoit Paturel. British Shaun Simpson and German Max Nagl will be also behind the gate as many other local competitors.
The MX2 class has some good MX2 guns on the entries despite some names like Jago Geerts, Kay de Wolf, Thibault Benistant, or Roan Van de Moosdijk will miss the event due to injuries. However, Red Bull KTM trio Liam Everts, Andrea Adamo and Sacha Coenen are set to race
Monster Energy Yamaha´s Rick Elzinga and the current EMX250 leader Andrea Bonacorsi are confirmed too. Another Factory rider we expect to see behind the line is Neestan Husqvarna´s Lucas Coenen.
As for the race format, each class will have 2 motos plus a SuperFinal between the 250cc and 500cc classes.
