Jeffrey Herlings to race ADAC MX Masters in Tensfeld

After the double round in Indonesia, Herlings is already on his way to the fith round of the ADAC MX Masters in Tensfeld.

The initial plan was racing at the fourth round of the ACU British Championship in Foxhill, but the race was cancelled due to the low number of entries.

“It was an important championship for me in my younger years. The ADAC MX Junior Cup is a highly respected international championship and many people in the industry follow these races closely. So it was important for me to compete there as a young rider so that the big teams would hopefully notice me. The championship is also very strong and competitive in the big classes. For me, the ADAC MX Masters has a very high level in Europe. It is super professional, very well organized and the tracks are usually very good. I prefer racing to just doing practice laps on a free weekend, which is why I like to compete as a guest starter at the ADAC.”

The double-header round in Indonesia was a big milestone for Jeffrey Herlings, as the KTM Red Bull rider collected 117 points out of 120 after winning 5 of 6 motos during those two weeks at the Island of Lombok for round 11 and 12 of the MXGP World Championship. With 8 Grands Prix to go, Herlings is 17 points behind Prado and 51 points behind Tim Gajser.
