Australian Jake Cannon, 17 years old, will join the BUD Racing Kawasaki team for the 2025 EMX250 Championship.
It will be Jake´s first campaign in Europe after winning the AUS PRO MX3 title with the Honda Australia team. Despite missing the inaugural round, he was able to win most of the rounds to finish first in the standings at the end of the season.
“Very happy to announce that Jake Cannon will ride for Team Bud Racing Kawasaki in 2025 for a multi year contract. The young 17yo Australian rider is more than excited to land in Europe for the EMX250 Championship, French MX2 Championship and some supercross.” wrote BUD Racing Kawasaki on social medias
Cannon will join Spaniard Francisco Garcia as his teammate. The EMX250 Championship will start at the second MXGP round in Castilla La Mancha, Spain, on March 15 & 16.
