Well…Well…Things gonna be a little bit of spicy in the 450 class this weekend as Ken Roczen and Jett Lawrence will be racing each other for the first time in their careers at High Point, round 4 of the AMA Pro Motocross. The two-time AMA Pro Motocross 450 champion and the rookie sensation. Who wins?

For Roczen, This will be his first outdoor race in over a year and the first one with the Progressive Insurance Ectsar Suzuki…Will be the last one too? After signing a three-year deal to race World Supercross Championship earlier in the year, it looked as though Roczen had moved toward a Supercross-only arrangement for the remainder of his career, but now, his team confirmed his presence for High Point

Roczen finished fourth in last year’s 450MX standings outdoors, taking three podiums throughout the season, including an overall win in the third round at Thunder Valley.

The excitement to having back Roczen to an outdoor round is the fact he will be racing against Jett Lawrence for the first time. The young Australian has been unbeatable in the previous three rounds and keeps a perfect 1-1-1-1-1-1. Can Roczen be the chosen one to stop him? Roczen won two outdoors championships in the 450 class, one in 2014 with KTM on his rookie campaign and the other two years later with Suzuki, both times winning High Point.
