This coming weekend (May 13th/14th) the ADAC MX Masters will enter its second round in Mölln. After a four-year break, the series returns to the “Grambeker Heidering” in Schleswig-Holstein with the three racing classes ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster Cup and ADAC MX Junior Cup 125. The reigning champion Max Nagl (D/KMP Honda Racing powered by Krettek) remained unbeaten in all three races of the top class ADAC MX Masters at the start of the season and will start at the MSC Mölln with maximum points as the leader of the standings. Tom Koch (D/Kosak Racing Team) and Adam Sterry (GB/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) are Nagl’s closest pursuers in the championship. Maximilian Spies (D/Kosak Racing Team) impressed as a class rookie with fourth overall but is feeling a bit battered after a crash at last weekend’s MXGP. The ADAC Sports Foundation protégé is still hoping for a start and a good performance in Mölln. Meanwhile, in the Youngster Cup, WZ KTM teammates Cato Nickel and Mike Gwerder started on a high note after being 1-2 in the season opener at Drehna. Nickel is the current leader by 12 points over Gwerder. The third place is occupied by Peter König. Spaniard talent from WZ Racing will be looking for redemption after an eventful weekend. He won the first moto on Saturday, but a crash and a DNF put him fourth overall.
