With a two-round schedule that will start this Sunday, February 9 in Mantova and will celebrate the second and final round on February 16 in Montevarchi, the Italian International is one of the preseason classics that always has the privilege to receive several factory teams of the Motocross World Championship for the first race of the season.
Tim Gajser, current Italian International Champion, will be back to defend his crown. He will be joined by the whole Honda HRC team, as Ruben Fernandez will also be present. In MX2, HRC will be represented by the Italians Ferruccio Zanchi and Valerio Lata, making their debut with the golden wing brand before their first full time season in the MX2 World Championship.
Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini will have their first race on the Ducati Desmo 450MX. Andrea Bonacorsi will make his debut as a Fantic Factory rider.
KTM Red Bull de Carli team will also be full with the debut of Simon Langenfelder and Sacha Coenen and Lucas Coenen, who in addition to making his debut with the team, will also have his first race in the premier class. Another Factory rider to debut new colors will be German Tom Koch with Beta Factory.
