MXPG Germany 2024, Teutschenthal Rider: Prado

The eighth round of the MXGP World Championship saw the dominance of Red Bull GasGas Jorge Prado and Neestan Husqvarna´s Lucas Coenen as they swept on their respective classes. Prado now claims the red plate by 2 points over Tim Gajser (2nd overall) while Jeffrey Herlings filled the podium with a 3-2 for 3rd overall.

Unfortunately, Romain Febvre had to retire early in the first race due to intense pain at his thumb injured two weeks ago. The Frenchman didn´t race the second moto, and will have new exams this week. At the same time, Pauls Jonass suffered a big crash at the start of the second race, resulting on a shoulder injury.

Meanwhile, in the MX2 class, Lucas Coenen got his third consecutive overall win and the second via 1-1 topping his teammate Kay de Wolf (2-2). Local hero Simon Langenfelder put all his effort to earn a well-deserved 3-3 in front of his home crowd.
