Glenn Coldenhoff Launches His Own Team for European Campaign
Glenn Coldenhoff has officially unveiled his new racing structure for the 2026 season, confirming the creation of GCR (Glenn Coldenhoff Racing) as he continues competing in Europe alongside his international commitments.
While his primary focus this year will be the MX1 GP Brasil Championship, Coldenhoff has decided to establish his own team to contest a selective European schedule. His program will include rounds of the Dutch Masters, the Dutch National Championship, and several international events — among them the traditional race at Lierop. He has also left the door open to competing in at least one round of the MXGP World Championship.
“The GCR team is ready to take off,” Coldenhoff explained. “Alongside my Brazilian adventure, I’ll continue racing some events here in Europe. That’s why I’ve created my own team to compete in the Dutch Masters, selected Dutch nationals, and international races this year. At the same time, we’re trying to line up for at least one MXGP round. The goal? Have fun. Go fast.”
The 2026 season therefore marks a new chapter for the current MXGP bronze medalist, who is embracing a hybrid approach — running his own European-based project while also committing to the Brazilian series, which is scheduled to begin on April 12 in Canelinha, São Paulo.
