After back-to-back nights full of action under the lights of the Lyon stadium, the SX Tour series crowned the new SX1 and SX2 champions in the form of Greg Aranda and Maxime Desprey, both from GSM Yamaha´s team.

Aranda won four rounds before Saturday´s final round. However, after winning the first Main Event on Friday, he had a lot of work to do as Anthony Bourdon was still in contention within 19 points behind. But in the second Main Event (Saturday), Aranda came in second holding off Bourdon who ran in third, enough to claim the SX1 title. Meanwhile, the winner was Cedric Soubeyras who ended third in the championship standings.

We could say that Aranda´s SX1 title is a good reward after a great season racing across the world in the WSX class of the World Supercross Championship and becoming King of Stuttgart (Germany) for the third time in his career, tied in the all-time Stuttgart win list with American Jason Thomas.

Meanwhile, in the SX2 class, Maxime Desprey put the final stamp after a dominant weekend where he claimed both finales. Desprey was almost unbeatable except for the DNF at night 1 in Paris. Charles LeFrançois and Pierre Lozzi finished second and third in the final standings.
