With the signing of Andrea Bonacorsi already confirmed, Fantic reinforces its commitment to the FIM Motocross World Championship by fielding three Factory XXF 450 in 2025.
Andrea Bonacorsi, the 21-year-old Italian, who claimed the EMX125 title on the Fantic XX 125 in 2020, joins Brian Bogers and Glenn Coldenhoff in the Fantic Factory Racing MXGP team, led by Louis Vosters.
EMX125 Riders: Bellei & Van Mechgelen
Alongside its top-tier MXGP line-up, Fantic is renewing its commitment to nurturing young talent, as Francesco Bellei joins the Fantic Factory Racing EMX team. Italian champion and fourth overall in the 2024 EMX125 European Championship, the 15-year-old Italian is ready to jump on the Fantic XX 125, the bike that dominated the field in 2024.
Alongside new recruit Bellei, the team retains Belgian rider Douwe Van Mechgelen.
Francesco Bellei: “I am very happy and proud to join the official Fantic team for the 2025 season. My focus will be on improving even further in the European EMX125 Championship, especially my performance on sand tracks. I can’t wait to start training on the new bike! I would like to thank everyone who has supported me so far—the FMI, Fiamme Oro, my family, and especially my dad. And, of course, thank you to Fantic for this fantastic opportunity!”
EMX250: Simone Mancini
Fantic is equally pleased to announce that Simone Mancini will continue his journey with the Italian brand and its official EMX team led by Daniele Marchese. The Junior Vice World Champion and EMX125 bronze medalist will advance to the EMX250 European Championship in 2025.
Following his impressive debut on the Fantic XXF 250, capped with a podium finish at the final round of the Italian Pro Prestige MX2 Championship, the 17-year-old is ready for the next stage in his promising career.
Simone Mancini: “I am very happy to continue with Fantic and spend another year working with a team I already know well. I have really enjoyed my time with them, I have a great relationship with everyone, and I am excited to start this second season with what I can truly call my Fantic family.
I recently got on the XXF 250, and my first impressions are very positive—I can’t wait to start winter training. We still have a lot to improve, and we will be working hard to see what we can achieve in my debut season in the EMX250 European Championship.”
