The Brazilian rider secures another year under the ClubMX Yamaha tent for 2024.

So far, Lopes has been turning some heads in the AMA circuit. He finished fifth in the 250SX East Coast standings back in 2020 and was fifth again in 2022 after a year of being plagued by injuries. This year he took one step further and finished fourth in the 250SX West Coast standings with five Top 5 finished showing some good speed with a heat win and some battles for podium spots.

“I am happy to be returning to ClubMX for another season. It is like family to me there and that is very important. Although I had many options, staying where I am makes the most sense for many reasons. The bikes are great, the people are great, the tracks are amazing, and I am surrounded by people that care about me. We all want to win and together we will get there.”

Lopes is now focused on the World Supercross Championship that will start on July 1st in Birmingham, England. He will be riding for ClubMX Yamaha in the SX2 class with Cole Thompson as his teammate.
