The FirePower Honda was having one of his best races this season as he was riding into the Top 10 until the final lap of the 450SX Main Event. However, a big crash ended his night at the Round 8 of the AMA Supercross series in Daytona. Wilson was transported to the closest medical center, where doctors determined a broken scapula in three parts.
Wilson sits 14th in the 450SX standings with 10th place in San Diego as his best result so far. But now with the injury, he´s expected to miss a couple of the incoming races until he heals up completely.
