Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha rider Daxton Bennick announces he will make his Pro debut this Saturday in Red Bud, round 5 of the AMA Pro Motocross series.
The 17 years old from Morganton, North Carolina, won the amateur SX Futures championship this year and now he will heading to his first-ever Pro Motocross race, joining Justin Cooper and Levi Kitchen in the professional structure. Meanwhile, Jordon Smith and Guillem Farres will be out due to recent injuries.
Bennick´s plan is still to race Loretta Lynn´s in August, but the new rule for amateur riders allows competitors to race three pro events or score at least 40 points to remain eligible for the top amateur ranks. So Kitchen maybe will do some other two races or less, depending on the number of points he scores during those races.
