Great news from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing: reigning champion Chase Sexton is set to make his return this Saturday, July 5th, at Round 6 of the AMA Pro Motocross series at RedBud.
Sexton has been sidelined since his heavy crash at the season opener. While the official word from KTM was that he was simply “banged up,” no further details were given at the time — though it was confirmed that he didn’t sustain any major injuries.
Now, it’s official: Sexton will be back in action this weekend for the RedBud National. While he’s mathematically out of the running to defend his AMA Pro Motocross title, he currently sits 4th in the SuperMotocross Championship standings, giving him a solid platform to build momentum heading into the Playoffs starting in September.
