Chase Sexton confirms his return for Detroit
The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider will be back in action this Saturday for the eleventh round of the AMA Supercross 2026 season.
Sexton had been one of the most notable absences since the eighth round of the calendar in Daytona. During the week leading up to that race, he suffered a training crash that resulted in hip and back injuries. As a consequence, he was unable to compete in Daytona, as well as in the following rounds in Indianapolis and Birmingham. Now, after several weeks of recovery, everything points to him being ready to return to the gate this March 28.
So far, his debut season with Monster Energy Kawasaki has been marked by inconsistency and some controversy. He opened the year with an eighth-place finish in Anaheim 1, followed by a fourth place, and achieved his best result in Anaheim 2, where he took the win. However, that remains his only podium appearance of the championship so far.
