The first-ever Indian Supercross League took place at Pune, for the first round of three. Riders from all around the world battle each other for the win, but no one can stop Frenchman Jordi Tixier who swept every moto on his BB Racing Honda.
Tixier won both SX1 motos and the All-Star race as well. Behind him, Matt Moss and Cedric Soubeyras traded positions with the Australian taking second overall via 3-2 over Soubeyras 3-2. A solid Thomas Ramette came short of the podium with a pair of 4-4.
In the SX2 class, Australian Reid Taylor from Big Rock Motorsport won both motos. Frenchmans Hugo Manzato (2-2) and Julien Lebeau (3-3) rounded the podium.
The All-Star race combined the best SX1 and SX2 riders from the day. Once again, Tixier put a perfect performance by winning wire-to-wire but this time over Matt Moss and countrymen Charles LeFrançois who previously ended 5-12. Meanwhile, Reid Taylor was the best SX2 in 4th place over Lorenzo Camporese.
