The penultimate round of the AMA Women’s Motocross series took place this Friday, August 15, at Unadilla, one day before the tenth round of the AMA Pro Motocross. Lachlan Turner claimed her fourth overall victory of the season, but not without a fierce battle against fellow Australian Charli Cannon. Cannon edged the red plate holder in Moto 1 to secure her first-career moto win in the United States.
Turner responded in Moto 2, taking the win and sealing the overall. Mikayla Nielsen completed the podium with a consistent 3-3 performance.
In championship terms, Turner now holds a 21-point advantage over Cannon heading into the final round.
