The Wild Rose MX Park was alive with excitement this past weekend as it hosted Round 1 of the highly anticipated Triple Crown Series Pro National race on Sunday, June 2nd. Fans from across Canada were treated to a thrilling display of professional motocross skill and domination across the 250 Pro and 450 Pro showcasing the best talents in the sport.

250 CLASS:

In the 250 class, the competition was fierce from start to finish. Riders battled intensely on the challenging track, but Red Bull/KTM Canada’s Kaven Benoit (QC) emerged victorious, earning the first red plate of the season with a 1-2 moto finish after a dominant lead in the first 250 moto. However, after suffering from an early moto crash in the first race, Monster Energy/Kawasaki Team Green’s rider Drew Adams (FL) put on a clinic in the second moto with a commanding 27-second gap over second place. Team Partzilla PRMX rider Gage Linville (GA) rounded out the overall podium with a 2-3 on the day. A notable mention is WLTN Kawasaki’s Quinn Amyotte, who finished third in moto one and was battling for third again in the second moto when a lapper cross-jumped into him, damaging the bike and forcing him to pull the throttle cable by hand to complete the race.

450 CLASS

The 450 class was no less exhilarating, with top-tier riders vying for the coveted first-place spot. Defending champion GDR/Honda Canada/Fox Racing’s Dylan Wright (QC) dominated the race, navigating the demanding Wild Rose terrain with precision and speed to claim the top prize. However, the second moto saw the end of an era with Red Bull/KTM Canada’s Jess Pettis (BC) taking the win after intense battles and wheel-to-wheel action, emerging with the overall win on the day (2-1), ending Wright’s 1039 day streak of winning overalls. In both motos, positions 3-7  saw numerous position changes and intense battles, particularly between WLTN Kawasaki’s Tanner Ward (ON), Partzilla PRMX’s Mitchell Harrison (FL) and KTM Canada/Red Bull’s Josiah Natzke (NZ). Their relentless pursuit of victory showcased the true skill of motocross racing.
