MRC officials, observing the soaked track conditions, made the decision to reduce practice sessions, allowing the track crew extra time to make necessary adjustments. Their efforts paid off as the sun emerged, drawing a large crowd of eager spectators ready for an action-packed day of racing.

450 CLASS: JOSIAH NATZKE WINS!

The 450 class delivered equally intense Moto 1 action. KTM Canada Red Bull’s Jess Pettis (2-3) initially grabbed the holeshot, but teammate Josiah Natzke (1-1) emerged victorious, marking his first Canadian 450 win. GDR Honda Canada Fox Racing’s Dylan Wright (9-7), despite concerns about his participation following a crash in Lethbridge, Alberta, the previous week, was competitive but ultimately yielded to other top contenders. MX101 Yamaha FXR pilot Preston Kilroy (3-4) brought his Yamaha home in third place, followed by PRMX teammates Mitchell Harrison (4-28) and Arron Tanti (5-2).

In the second 450 moto, Josiah Natzke and PRMX’s Aaron Tanti quickly took command, creating a significant gap from the rest of the field. MX101’s Preston Kilroy, PRMX’s Mitchell Harrison, and WLTN Kawasaki’s Tanner Ward (6-6) led the pursuit.

Despite a challenging start, KTM Canada Red Bull’s Jess Pettis made a remarkable recovery to catch the lead group. Pettis climbed to secure third place, while Tanti held second. Natzke’s flawless performance earned him a dominant 1-1 moto score, securing his first 450 overall win in Canada.
