Ken Roczen has confirmed that he will be competing in the ninth round of the AMA Pro Motocross, which will be held in Unadilla on August 10. But that’s not all, as the German will also compete in the 250 class in the final round of the championship at Ironman, which will be contested on August 24 at Ironman.

Casually the last time Roczen contested a Pro Motocross round on a 250 (KTM) was on August 24, 2013, at Lake Elsinore, finishing 1-7 for a 2nd overall. Instead, we have to go further back in time to remember the last time Roczen competed on a Suzuki 250. It was at the GP of Fermo, Italy, in the last round of the 2010 World Cup, where he scored a perfect 1-1.

Roczen has been absent since an injury suffered at the AMA Supercross in Nashville. However, he began riding in mid-June with his sights set on the three rounds of SuperMotocross to be held during September. The HEP Suzuki rider sits 12th in the overall SuperMotocross standings, which is the sum of points earned between the AMA Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross campaigns.
