During the International of Keiheuvel, Belgium announced its 2024 Motocross of Nations lineup with three of its best MX2 young guns that will represent the country at the 77th edition in Matterley Basin on October 6 & 7.
All three are currently racing in the MX2 World Championship, which means two of them will step up on 450cc bikes for the MXGP and OPEN classes.
The team will be led by Lucas Coenen, in what will be his second participation in a Motocross of Nations, although the first on a 450cc as he will lead the team in the MXGP class on a Neestan Husqvarna 450cc machine. Making his MXoN debut, his brother Sacha has been placed in MX2.
Liam Everts, Sacha’s teammate at KTM Red Bull, will be back in OPEN as he was last year on a 350cc KTM.
Last year Belgium finished 5th overall for the second time in a row.
- MXGP – Lucas Coenen #13
- MX2 – Sacha Coenen #14
- OEPN – Liam Everts #15
