Great news for fans! The giant from Lithuania will be back at the highest level as he signed a new contract with Italian team Millionaire GasGas Racing.

Back in the fall of 2020, Jasikonis suffered head trauma due to a big crash in the GP of Lombardia. But he defied the odds to return to racing at the highest level thanks to a one year remaining with the Husqvarna Factory Racing team. Next year he moved to Gebben Van Venrooy Yamaha squad, however, he decided to step away in order to reevaluate his future in the sport and heal up properly.

Now, close to the kick-off of the MXGP 2023, Jasikonis has announced that he will be racing in the MXGP class once again. This time in the Italian team Millonario GasGas. His season will start in the MXGP of Sardegna, round two of the MXGP World Championship on March 26. In addition, he will be racing in the Prestige Italian Championship too.
